PRODUCT INFORMATION

This product was made by 35 year old, Ama Asantewaa, mother of three from Bolgatanga, joined our social business one year ago. With the stable income from basket weaving, she has been able to send her children to school and improve her family's living conditions. The opportunity has also empowered Ama to become a community leader, advocating for women's financial independence.

Some baskets may require shaping once you receive them. To reshape basket, submerge in water to wet basket (do not get the leather handles wet), reshape basket and let dry.
